The beginning sets the stage for unexpected turns

Best Thing: Whole thing.
Worst Thing: I had to watch it twice
It begins with a typewriter and Ewan MacGregor, a fine actor. Nicole Kidman plays Satine, and the glitter and fanfare lets you peek through to the seams that are showing and the dirt on the floor where no one wants to look. The song and dance quite amazing, a story for stories sake. Liked it.
