Best Thing: The dialogue between Ollie (Ben) and his father and his daughter
Worst Thing: How Liv Tyler's character gave herself away so easily, felt unrealistic
At first when I heard about the title of this movie and its actors, I thought it was just going to be a quick romantic flick about Ben Affleck's character and Liv Tyler's character. But this film was more than that, it was about the importance of love, losing love and being able to find it again through the struggles in life (eg. work, caring for family etc).
The script of this film was well written combined with smart acting made it really likeable to watch. The relationship Ollie has with his family is funny yet real and of course loving. Father's Ollie made some funny remarks about his son throughout the movie which I enjoyed very much. Gertie (Ollie's daughter) is a real sweetie and adorable in this movie too.
Liv Tyler's character was a bit unrealistic at the beginning because she gave herself away so easily to Ollie but overall her character was likeable as well.
Jennifer Lopez made an short appearance at the beginning as the mother of Gertie who died when giving birth to her. She shows that she can act and act well unlike others films she has been in (especially those in the romantic genre).
Overall, really great to watch, make you a bit emotional and take a liking to the characters in this film.
